Bärbucha – Kombucha Café & Fermenterei, as the name suggests, is made up of two departments which are seemingly separate, but which are unified by the love for fermented foods & drinks.
Kombucha is being one big part of it - for that reason we carry about 20 different varieties of our Kombucha & we offer Kombucha Tastings (in the form of Flights) & also all things needed for Kombucha Home Brewing. Including Workshops. The Second major part is Fermented Vegetables, Pickles & other fermented goodies like Water Kefir, Milk Kefir, Kvass or even Fermented Soda.
Hence the Fermenterei (or Fermentery in English).
Since we offer many different fermented foods & drinks at our place, we thought it would be a good idea to share more information about them - i.e how we make them, few details about the ingredients that we use & also about the benefits of fermented foods in general.
