Energetic Component of Foods and Drinks

When you think about describing foods or/and drinks, there are certain aspects which automatically come to mind. These are the physical aspects like: the taste (good, bad, OK, exquisite, etc), the flavor (sweet, salty, bitter, etc), the texture (soft, hard, crunchy, creamy, etc), the smell (pleasant, smoky, freshly baked, fruity, etc) or even the temperature (hot, cold, lukewarm, etc,).

Visual aspect is also very important, as it is the first impression before you taste something (looks yummy, does not look appetizing, etc).
But there are other aspects which influence how we experience the things we eat or drink.
One of them is the environment.
By the environment I mean things like this: the same food (or drink) will taste differently, if it is served on beautiful fine "china" plates, or when it is served on plastic throw-away trays.
It will taste different, when you can sit down in peace and enjoy it, let's say, on a picnic, surrounded by nice scenery, or when you eat it squatting in the corner, next to a busy and not so clean street.
A nice wine (or Kombucha) will taste differently when one drinks it out of a plastic cup, or even straight from the bottle, than when one drinks it out of a beautiful wine glass.
This environment aspect can be noticed better when one compares the fine dining, and street food aspects. Just keep in mind that I am not concentrating here on the flavor of the food, but on the overall emotional aspect of those two dining experiences.
Taste-wise, the street food can be better, if it's done skillfully, and with love.
Yes, you've read it right. When it's made with Love.
But, I will will come back to this later.
The other two important aspects belong to a bit different sphere, and this sphere, being invisible, is usually not taken into account by most people.
The first one is the emotional aspect.
This aspect includes two main categories: your emotional state which you are in, when you are eating or drinking.
So, again. When you are in a good mood, the same things will taste better, than when you are in stress, or when you are upset.
The other, even finer aspect, is your emotional attachment to some foods or drinks.
So, let's say that there's a dish from your childhood which almost brings you back to those beautiful moments of those innocent years. Each time you might eat it now, as an adult, it will bring back those wonderful emotions (connected to memories), and it will taste like the best thing in the world.
The exactly same food given to someone else, might be just tasty. Or maybe just average.
Similar thing happens with negative memories. When some food, or even an ingredient was emotionally negatively imprinted into your subconsciousness, you will never like it as an adult.
Unless, you understand this principle, and unless you learn how to overcome your childhood traumas, only then you might regain neutrality, and those foods will no longer be emotionally charged (in a negative way). And only then, you might discover that they are not so bad (they might actually taste good).
So, you can see that your perception of foods can vary, and this has nothing to do with their actual flavor, structure, texture, etc.
Finally, we are coming to the least understood, but equally, or even more important aspect of foods and drinks, the energetic aspect.
Some of you might have heard about dr. Masaru Emoto.
He has done experiments which showed the effect of emotions, sounds and other vibrations on water. Water is an essential component of all living creatures, not to mention most of the foods that we eat, and all of the drinks.
Below, you can read about those effects in a couple of paragraphs, which I am re-posting from one of our previous blog entries which was posted on our Bärbucha Kombucha's website.
This blog entry is titled "Kombucha 101 - Water"
"The extraordinary life work of Dr. Emoto is documented in the New York Times Bestseller, The Hidden Messages in Water. In his book, Dr. Emoto demonstrates how water exposed to loving, benevolent, and compassionate human intention results in aesthetically pleasing physical molecular formations in the water while water exposed to fearful and discordant human intentions results in disconnected, disfigured, and “unpleasant” physical molecular formations. He did this through Magnetic Resonance Analysis technology and high-speed photographs. See the following water crystal photographs from Dr. Emoto’s work. Each water crystal you see was exposed to the word it has written next to it prior to being photographed:"

"His research also showed us how polluted and toxic water, when exposed to to prayer and intention can be altered and restored to beautifully formed geometric crystals found in clean, healthy water. The following photos are images of photographs of the the water in the Fujiwara Dam before and after the Reverend Kato Hoki, chief priest of Jyuhouin Temple, offered an hour long prayer over it."

"Dr. Emoto also studied how sound affects water. The Emoto music studies demonstrate how certain types of sound, like classical music, generate beautiful crystalline patterns, while heavy metal music, generate ugly and distorted crystalline formations. In the images below you see the crystalline formation resulting from water being exposed to Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and then in contrast what the water crystal image looks like after listening to heavy metal music."

If that is not fully convincing to you, then you can think about the following.
If you had a normal childhood, and your mom was cooking for you, you will remember those meals for the rest of your life. Why, because your mom was putting all her unconditional love into these meals, and her love energy was imbued in the food that you were eating.
There is no stronger emotion here on earth than the unconditional love of a mother for her child. The similar thing could have been experienced with grandmas, and their meals cooked for their grandchildren (those meals are also emotionally imbued).
Similarly, food prepared with love will taste so much better then food cooked with no emotions, or even worse, prepared and cooked with negative emotions.
And where do we find good examples of foods cooked with negative emotions?
In restaurants. There, the overall environment is usually full of stress, often combined with low emotions like jealousy, envy, foul language, or even hate. The stress factor pushes workers to smoking, drinking, and even doing drugs. Long hours, weekends and holidays, which most of the employees have to put up with also do not help. Then, quite often, comes inadequate pay, and some other factors, like big ambitions, and big egos of the bosses, or the owners.
So what kind of energies are imbued in the foods (or drinks) that you receive?
(It is just a rhetorical question, so there's no need to answer)
In that aspect, some of the street food which was made with love and passion, will taste a lot better, and you will benefit from it more.
Emotions and intentions are also important aspects, when it comes to preparing food.
Things will generally taste better when the intentions are good, or noble.
On the other hand, when the intentions are based only on making money (neutral energy), or what's even worse, on greed, or on cheating (prices too high, portions too small, ingredients not matching the description, etc), then they will influence the energetic load of the prepared foods in even more negative way.
Something similar can be observed when dealing with someone who has good intentions towards you, or with someone who wants to take advantage of you, or even deceive you.
These different energies can be sensed right away.
You can also notice how you feel when you are surrounded by happy people with with good energy, and how you feel when you are around people who are depressed, angry, or miserable.
All the above mentioned examples add to the energetic aspect of food or drinks.
These are all subtle aspects and depending on your sensibility, you might, or might not sense those energies present, but even if you don't sense them right away, they might affect your emotional, or even your physical well being afterwards.
So, when you eat something in a restaurant, and you do not feel well afterwards, it can be on one hand be a sign that there was something wrong with the food (it was bad, or old, or spoiled). But it might also be the effect of a strong negative energy which was generated and imbued into this food (most often unconsciously) by whoever was cooking this meal, or by the low vibration of the place.
The same will happen with any of the drinks that stay in that environment, as the water molecules change, and distort in the presence of any negative energy, or vibration.
But do not worry if you don't sense anything. Not everyone does. At least not at the beginning.
There are people who are more sensitive than others. Luckily, the awareness about the energetic aspects is growing, and you can find more and more people writing, and talking
about it.
Something similar is well illustrated by another example which I posted in the same blog entry about Water. It was an interesting experiment done by IKEA, and its end results show how two different emotions (which are energies in motion) affect the world around us.
"This experiment involved two identical plants. One of them was being bullied and the second one was complimented at the same time for a period of 30 days. Below you can see the results.
It is quite obvious which one was bullied and which one was complimented."

To find out more about this experiment, please click here.
We have done a similar experiment with the water that we use for our Bärbucha Kombucha, and our Fermented Vegetables.
Here's a quote from the same blog entry mentioned above:
"We have also made few experiments with water.
In one of them, we compared the same water that we divided into five different bottles.
In the first bottle water was only filtered. In the second it was filtered and revitalized.
In the third bottle water was filtered and then two times revitalized. Finally, the fourth and filth bottle had water that was filtered, twice revitalized and additionally imbued with intentions (by two different people).
Next came the blind tastings. A big portion of people could not taste a difference past the second and the third bottle. Some people though, including us, could taste the difference in water imbued with intentions. Since two different people imbued two different intentions and the water from those two bottles tasted significantly different.
One tasted way better than the other one, as the intention was more noble."
There was one more interesting thing that we have discovered over the years.
During times when we used to deliver our Kombucha to various places, two different business owners told us that our Kombucha tasted different when it sat for a while at their place.
Again, the same Kombucha tasted different (better), when they were trying it again at our place.
Those statements only confirmed the fact that different vibrations of those places were having a subtle impact on the taste of our Kombucha. But it is something that only highly sensitive people can pick up, and those two business owners belong to that category.
There's still another aspect of water which is quite important as it affects the way this water is assimilated by our cells. Here, we are talking about the so called "dead water" and "living water".
The so called "dead water" comes from faucets, to which the water is pumped under pressure through the pipes, in which it sits. Here, this water loses its natural geometry, and the natural cluster structure also changes. This water contains more of the so-called "para-clusters" than "ortho-clusters".
Here's a quote explaining the difference between these two groups of clusters:
"Water exists as two nuclear-spin isomers, para and ortho, determined by the overall spin of its two hydrogen nuclei". (more here)
Additionally this "dead water" carries negative memories and the so called civilizational dirt (like electrosmog, chemical residue, drugs, and other impurities). It is "dead" because it does not move, and when it does move, this movement is linear (and not natural).
Water sitting in plastic bottles is also a good example of "dead water".
"Living water", on the other hand, has a hexagonal structure, and it can be found there in nature, where the water's movement is in a spinning manner (like a spring water, or a mountain stream coming down the rocks).

This spinning water carries the vibrations of earth and the vibrations of minerals which are submerged in it.
"Living water" contains more than 50 % of ortho-clusters (tap water might contain only around 5 % of ortho-clusters and 95 % of para-clusters).
"Living water" is assimilated by our cells almost effortlessly, whereas in case of "dead water" our body needs to waste some of our energy to transform it into "living water".
Luckily, "dead water" can be transformed into "living water" in a couple of ways. One of them is with the help of patented technology, another one is by re-structuring the water, and still another one is by by consciously working with energy to bring it back to the original hexagonal form (and that is what we do).
To sum it up.
All thoughts and all emotions can, and do influence the world around us.
The positive states like happiness, joy, love, as well as gratitude, humbleness, compassion, or empathy will affect our surrounding in a positive way.
The negative states like anger, depression, aggression, jealousy, envy, hate, etc will affect it in a negative way.
And since all emotions are energies in motion, and energies are considered to be forms of vibrations, it is through these vibrations that everything around us is influenced and affected.
Even more so, when a person is preparing a meal, or a drink, and he/she is touching the ingredients and putting his/her attention (and energy) into it.
Now, let's take a look at our (Bärbucha) products.

Obviously, since we mentioned all those energetic aspects, then you should know that we are very aware of how our energy affects the foods and drinks which we produce.
But it's not just a pure knowledge on our side, as we have been practicing it in our personal lives, too. And not just with food and drinks only.
So, when it comes to our place and our products, here are some of the important aspects to remember.
Our Bärbucha Cafe and Fermentery is like an extension of our home, and many people feel that, and they tell us that.
All the products that we offer, we produce them ourselves, and we also eat, and drink them ourselves. So they are not just the things for sale to make money.
Our attitude is like this. We make those things primarily for us, and we share what's left with other people. We know how we feel after consuming our products, and what they give us, and because of that, we can explain them better to our customers.
The intentions behind our products are following:
we make them the best we can, so they can not only taste the best, but also so they can provide the maximum benefits at the same time (like beneficial bacteria, better digestion, gut health, and also energy boosts).
We also make them so people can have a better choice, especially if they are looking for things which are made the way they should be made.
And that's important because when we travel, it is very difficult for us to find fermented vegetables which have not been made in plastic barrels, and which are not sold in plastic bags, or which have been fermented for long enough. And when it comes to Kombucha, it is very difficult to find the one which tastes good, and which at the same time have not been filtered, and artificially carbonated, or fermented in plastic barrels. Or even made like it is supposed to be made, and not from concentrate (or from powder).
All of our products (fermented vegetables, Kombucha, vinegars, and other) are produced in a very relaxed environment (which is absolutely stress-free), with inspirational music, and we do pay a lot of attention to our emotional hygiene (so no anger, jealousy, hate, depression, etc), so that none of those low vibrational states affect any of our products.
And it's all reflected in what we offer. Just close your eyes, open your heart, feel it, and taste it.
